PROJECT DESCRIPTION

My project is a science fiction conceptualised art and telling an intense episode of spiritual war about to happen in the near future. The characters of this project are inspired from Indian spiritual ascetics who have isolated themselves from the society since eons.

The overall concept of the project is to design a very mysterious and isolated Spiritual Indian tribe of ascetic ash smeared Naga Sadhus who have made an alliance with the advanced military to defeat a common enemy. Thus, conceptualizing the characters and other props will require a deep understanding of who are Naga Sadhus and how they live. Giving a brief intro, Naga Sadhus detach themselves from the world and live in isolation to meditate and perform spiritual practices thus making them unaware of the modern tools and their workings. Combining both completely opposite aspects will make the designs look sci-fi and in primal nature.  Thereby depicting the magnanimous power when ancient prodigy is infused with modern tools. This project uniquely orates spiritual message that we can apply to our lives. To achieve this aim, I have designed multiple characters, weapons and props showing Naga Sadhu's (considered to be wildly strong and spiritual woke) dexterity with advanced tools. Challenging my limits, I have also designed a few illustrations/splash artworks to highlight the main scenes from the narrative.
